The Hartwell Corporation, is pleased to announce that it has become a member of Certified Employee-Owned (Certified EO), the leading certification program for employee-owned companies in America.
To become a member of Certified EO, companies must pass a rigorous certification process to demonstrate that their employees own at least 30% of the business, access to ownership is open to every employee, and the concentration of ownership is limited. Fewer than 1 in 200 American companies are eligible to join Certified EO.
“We’re excited to have The Hartwell Corporation as our newest member,” said Thomas Dudley, CEO and Co-founder of Certified EO. “We’re very aligned on values and recognize that employee ownership is good for workers, good for business, and good for communities.”
The Hartwell Corporation became 100% employee-owned in 2012 and has continued to foster deep values among it's employee-owners including:
Our affairs will be conducted so that we retain control of our destiny and take pride in all our endeavors.
We are dedicated to professionalism by promoting ethical standards of integrity, honesty, and fairness.
We build long-term relationships based on common values and mutual respect.
We attract and retain the best employees by providing a positive culture and opportunities for growth.
We are committed to serving our local communities and giving back a portion of our time, talents and profits.
Every employee at The Hartwell Corporation does their part to push the company forward, because as employee-owners we are invested in the company's future. We also want our clients to succeed and know we can't succeed without them.
